Cementitious flooring

PYE FLOOR SCREED is a specially blended premixed hydraulic cement and non-reactive aggregate. The product is ready to use when mixes with clean water. It is easy to apply and useful for levelling rough and uneven concrete floors.

• The product is used primarily as underlayment for waterproof or tiling floor.

Ensure surfaces must be clean, free of dust, oil, paint, grease and all traces of mould. Nails and other foreign material must be removed. Prewetting is recommended for dry surfaces, but over wetting resulting in accumulation of water on the surface should be avoided.

Mixing
Slowly add a 40kg of PYE FLOOR SCREED to 6 - 10 litres of clean water. Use a power drill or concrete mixer to mix thoroughly until a smooth consistency is achieved. Then allow 1 minutes for the chemical additives to dissolve in the mixture.

Application
Pour the mix onto the prepared surface and spread to the required thickness with a notched trowel.

Cleaning of Equipment
Clean all tools and application equipment with clean water immediately after use. Hardened or cured material can only be removed mechanically.

Storage Conditions
Store properly in dry conditions, in undamaged and unopened, original sealed packaging. Keep away from direct sunlight, rain, water and moisture.
