Tiling Products

A protective waterproof dense cement mixture used to fill the joints of mosaic, ceramic and other similar tiles.

• Smooth and non crack.
• Prevents the ingress of water behind the tiling surface.
• Resistance to fungus and mould growth.

Allow the tile adhesive to cure for 24 hours before grouting. On non-porous backings, the time interval should be extended to a minimum of 3 days. For exterior work, it is important that water is not allowed to penetrate the open joints before grouting commences.

Mixing
Add sufficient water and mix to a thick uniform, creamy consistency. Allow to stand for 5 - 10 minutes and re-stir
before use.

Application

• Grout tiles after the adhesives has had sufficient time to set.
• Dampen the tile joint with a sponge and apply the prepared grout, spreading at the rate of 3m at a time.
• Work well into joints with a sponge, grouting tools or squeegee.
• Remove surplus grout with a piece of damp cloth or sponge.
• Allow grout to set firm (approximately one day).

Cleaning of Equipment
Clean all tools and application equipment with clean water immediately after use. Hardened or cured material can only be removed mechanically.

Drying time	1 - 2 hours under normal conditions.
Coverage	Approx. 2sq.m. of tiles per kg.

 

Storage Conditions
Store properly in dry conditions, in undamaged and unopened, original sealed packaging. Keep away from direct sunlight, rain, water and moisture.
