- To be used on concrete / cement panel, aerated light weight block or skim plastered surfaces.
- Ceramic tiles or natural stones can be fixed on PYE FIL finished surface.
Ensure surfaces must be clean, free of dust, oil, paint, grease and all traces of mould. Surface defects deeper than 4mm shall be patched/ repaired with cement renders or PYE FIL base plasters prior to the application. Prewetting is recommended for dry surfaces, but over wetting resulting in accumulation of water on the surface should be avoided.
Mixing
Add about 11 - 12 litres of water to 25kg of PYE FIL and mix with a power drill whisk or a suitable mechanical stirrer for 10 minutes to obtain a homogeneous creamy paste. Re-mix for 1 minute if the material is left undisturbed for more than 30 minutes.
Application
Apply by using a spray plaster machine or directly with a steel trowel or spatula. Level out to a thickness of 1 - 2mm to obtain correct level or alignment. Allow the material to gain partial surface drying before returning to work on surface with a steel trowel to achieve a smooth finish. When applying several layers, the base layer must be dry before spreading the subsequent layer.
Cleaning of Equipment
Clean all tools and application equipment with clean water immediately after use. Hardened or cured material can only be removed mechanically.
