Plasters

A polymer modified cement based finish coat plaster specially designed for the application onto freshly plastered cement mortar with a single application of 1-2 mm. It reduces shrinkage cracks and gives a high quality plaster surface. It must be applied when the base plaster substrate has not achieved its full curing. Suitable for either painting, wallpapering or simply as a finish surface.

• To be used on wet mortar or skim coat surfaces only.
• Ceramic tiles or natural stones can be fixed on PYE WALCOAT 201 finished surface.

The base cement mortar should be semi-cured (touch dry). Pre-wetting is recommended if the base has achieved more than 80% of curing. However, over wetting resulting in accumulation of water on the surface should be avoided.

Mixing
Add about 7 litres of water to 25kg of PYE WALCOAT 201 and mix with a power drill whisk or a suitable mechanical stirrer to homogenous smooth paste. Allow standing 10 minutes for additives to dissolve. Mix again before use.

Application
Apply by using a spray plaster machine or directly with a steel trowel or spatula. Level out to obtain a smooth finish.

Cleaning of Equipment
Clean all tools and application equipment with clean water immediately after use. Hardened or cured material can only be removed mechanically.

Shelf Life
6 months if stored in a cool and dry condition.

Storage Conditions
Store properly in dry conditions, in undamaged and unopened, original sealed packaging. Keep away from direct sunlight, rain, water and moisture.
