A specially formulated Styrene - Butadiene Resin (SBR) multipurpose bonding agent to improve adhesion for various interior and exterior building application areas including swimming pools.
  • Bonding agent for modifier such as cement and mortar.
  • Water resistance for cement sand mix.
  • Acts as primer prior to fixing of ceramic tiles.

Priming: Seals off dusty surfaces and acts as a primer prior to fixing of ceramic tiles vinyl or other tiles thus become water resistant layer.

Bonding agent for modifier
Bonding aid for cement sand mortar onto concrete surface or other surfaces. Modify the cement sand mortar in replacement of water for better adhesion, tensile strength, reduce drying shrinkage & better workability.

Admixture
When mix with cement sand as a render/ screed mix its increase the adhesion, better workability, flexural strength and thereby reduces the drying shrinkage and gradually become water resistant.

Mixing
Tiling : Mix 1 pail of PYE SBR BOND to 3 part of cement based adhesive by weight to achieve a workability mortar mix to use for laying floor or wall tiles.
Primer : Mix of PYE SBR BOND with 1:1 cement sand as a primer coat for building board, slurry bonding coat, damp resistant layer, and use as patch repair etc.

Installation

  • We do recommend the ceramic tiles to be soaked into water and it must be dry when fixing.
  • Apply adhesive at thickness of 3 - 6mm for spreading no more than 1sq.meter and using a solid bed notched trowels.
  • Immediately press tiles firmly into position with a twisting action.
  • After spreading the adhesive, app.15 minutes is allowed, that depends on porosity of background and surrounding condition. If there is a skin formed, re-trowel the adhesive to break the skin.

Note: It is very important to determine all the surface condition and suitability prior to the application by the users.

Cleaning of Equipment
Clean all tools and application equipment with clean water immediately after use.

Storage Conditions
Store properly in dry conditions, in undamaged and unopened, original sealed packaging. Keep away from direct sunlight, rain, water and moisture.
