Resin Based Surface Treatment

This is a single component 100% acrylic water based coating. It is suitable for most well prepared sound concrete floor surfaces and asphalt surfaces too. It has excellent adhesion and provide a tough, durable and UV resistance finish with a good degree of chemical and stain resistance.

Ensure floors should be sound, dry and all traces of oil, grease and other foreign matters to be removed. Concrete floors should be well cured and smooth concrete must be etched. Etching can be done using PYE CEMENT ETCHER.

Mixing
Stir thoroughly with a broad, flat stirrer before use. If necessary dilute up to 10% of clean water to the mixture as the first or primary coat.

Application
Apply using a brush or roller. Normally 2 coats is sufficient and allow a 2 to 4 hour interval between coatings (depending on the humidity and weather). It is best recommended to apply PYE FLOORSHIELD in the direction against previous application of the first coat for optimum results. PYE FLOORSHIELD should not be applied in conditions of excessive humidity and very hot surfaces. Do not apply when the surface is wet.

Cleaning of Equipment
Clean all tools and application equipment with clean water immediately after use.

Storage Conditions
Store properly in dry conditions, in undamaged and unopened, original sealed packaging. Keep away from direct sunlight, rain, water and moisture.
