Resin Based Surface Treatment

A waterbased pave coat that provides excellent adhesion and improved appearance on interior and exterior concrete surfaces.

• Suitable for driveways, paveways, concrete paves and concrete floors.
• Also ideal for coating clay and concrete pots.

For new/ Untreated porous concrete surfaces:
Allow new concrete to cure for at least 12 weeks before coating. All new or old concrete surfaces must be etched with PYE CEMENT ETCHER and rinsed with water.

For coated concrete surfaces:
Remove all loose flakes and all contaminants such as dirt, grease and oil with PYE CEMENT ETCHER followed by sanding for glossy surfaces to provide “key”. Before coating, do a compatibility test on small part of intended surface. Allow it to dry for 24 hours and check for lifting of old coating or poor adhesion. If problems are observed total removal of the old coating is required.

Mixing
Stir thoroughly with a broad, flat stirrer before use. Constant stirring is recommended at 5 - 10 minutes intervals.

Application
Dilute PYE PAVE KOTE with 5 - 10% water and use as primer if required. Apply two coats to a correctly prepared surface. Lightly sand between coats. Apply using a brush, roller or spray gun. Allow 2 hours drying time between coats.

Cleaning of Equipment
Clean all tools and application equipment with clean water immediately after use.

Storage Conditions
Store properly in dry conditions, in undamaged and unopened, original sealed packaging. Keep away from direct sunlight, rain, water and moisture.
