Resin Based Surface Treatment

Clear air-drying polyurethane / alkyd resin based formula designed to provide a tough wear-resistant finish on all internal timber surfaces in a single can. It gives a satin covering with resistance to water, wear and tear.

• Can be used for parquet, paneling and doors furniture.
• Suitable for interior particleboard cork tiles and etc.

Ensure clean wood surface with turpentine to remove grease etc. Fill nail holes or defects with PYE WOOD FILLA. Sand to a smooth finish. Remove dust.

Stir thoroughly before application. PYE WOOD VARNISH is a ready-to-use product. If however, thinning is required, add 10 - 15% white spirit. Sand lightly between coats. Allow 4 - 6 hours drying time between each coat. Minimum of 2 coats are required but 3 coats are recommended for best results. Light walking traffic is permissible after 12 hours. Drying time may vary, depending on the humidity of the air.

For brush or roller application: use direct or thin with 10% white spirit. For conventional air spray: thin with 10 - 15% white spirit.

Cleaning of Equipment
Clean all tools and application equipment with turpentine oil immediately after use.

Storage Conditions
Store properly in dry conditions, in undamaged and unopened, original sealed packaging. Keep away from direct sunlight, rain, water and moisture.
